March 16-17th, 2018

Meeting Venue: University of Rostock, Universitätsplatz 1, 18055 Rostock, Germany

Dear colleagues,

we cordially invite you to our scientific meeting „The many faces of Parkinson’s disease – motor and
non-motor symptoms from prodromal to advanced disease stages” at the University of Rostock,
Germany, on March 16th and 17th, 2018.

In this meeting, a panel of reputable international experts will discuss the pathophysiology, diagnosis and therapy of non-motor symptoms in Parkinson’s disease, which are known to affect the majority of patients in the course of disease and often significantly contribute to disability and impaired quality of life. In a special session, we will specifically address deep brain stimulation and its effects on non-motor symptoms and brain plasticity. In addition, young investigators will present exciting new data from their research on non-motor symptoms in short DataBlitzes.

This meeting has been endorsed by the Movement Disorder Society and will also incorporate the 2018 Scientific meeting of the MDS NMS-PD Study Group.

We are looking forward to interesting talks, fruitful discussions and an inspiring meeting at the shores of the Baltic Sea in Rostock!
